Let's start from the very begining

We took it nice and slow on our drive to Utah. We left the first day around 9am and made our first stop at the Waco Zoo. We really liked this zoo and felt like it was just the right size. The animals are really close up, so you actually get to see them and we went on a day that was a little cooler (low 50's) so there were hardly any people there. From there we drove straight through to Wichita Falls. We made sure to get a hotel with a pool, so that we could take the boys swimming. They had so much fun and I think it was a highlight of the trip for Luke. The second day was very long and harrowing. We stopped in the morning and explored an old train in Childress, and then we stopped in the afternoon at a children's museum in Amarillo. I wish we'd had more time to spend there because it was a great museum. From Amarillo we drove through to Albuquerque and this was probably the worst part of all our time in the car. Poor Seth had a tummy ache and was just wailing 'My tummy hurts, my tummy hurts!' He was inconsolable until about 2 hours later he started passing lots and lots of gas and then seemed to be all better. Poor guy! We made our way to Gallup that night and stayed in an awful hotel. The last day was fine, but we were all so ready to be in Provo. We got there around 3pm and the boys immediately started playing and reading with their grandparents. We were so excited to start relaxing and enjoying family!
