What does your night stand say about you?

So I was noticing the other day that first off all, I have too much crap on my night stand and secondly that it actually tells a lot about me. What's on my stand:

milk storage bag (came with my nursing pads, which are under my night stand)
christmas card from my Mother in Law
2 tubes of patrolium jelly
a nipple shield
nose sucker (I think the correct term is bulb syringe)
bowling coupon
cassette tape (the story of how Dave and I met)
screw driver
hair tie and clips
make-up wedge
lamp
candle
kleenex
2 pacifiers
aquaphor

inside the nightstand - scriptures and ensign

so basically . . . I'm not really sure what this says about me, but I thought it was interesting. What's on your night stand?

This is actually a bit more accurate . . .

Do you ever just have those days?

I should probably be embarrassed to post this picture of my kitchen . . . because it usually looks this way, but I guess I just hope I'm not alone!

We love Seth too . . . AKA little Spitz

The last several posts have mostly been about Luke, but we absolutely love and adore Seth too. He's such a chunker and I could munch on his thighs, and cheeks all day long! He's a sweety with the best smiles. Sadly, he has a little reflux so he spits up a ton, but he's still as happy as can be. We love him!

Luke's b-day celebrations

We started the day with a great breakfast of crepes with strawberries, whipped cream, and nutella (yum!) and then Omi (grandma), Daddy, Luke and I headed off to the Thanksgiving Point dinosaur museum. He actually really enjoyed it this time (though he didn't like the wet sand play area at first because he's a bit of a clean freak). By the end we had to drag him away because he was having so much fun! That night we had a nice family dinner and cake and ice cream. It was pretty low key, but we had fun and he's a great little boy!

I have a 2 year old!

The day before Luke turned 2, he decided to really be a 2 year old. In fact that night going to bed was one of the worst in the history of Luke! He's had a few jealousy issues and they've mostly been manifest at bed time by him crying, 'mommy hold you!' but we're working on it. If you have ever heard of the Oedipus complex . . . Luke has it. I don't know if there has ever been a child more in love with their mother (and who can blame him really, jk!) Anyways, this is a little off tangent. The point is, I have a two year old and I love him to pieces . . . his captivating eyes, his sweet laugh and smile, his larger than life heart, and every neurotic (yes, even at 2 he's a bit neurotic), cute, crazy, and adorable part of his personality. Life just wouldn't be the same without him and I'm glad he's mine!
